“Ethics, also called moral philosophy, is devoted to the philosophical aspects of morality. Its history goes back to philosophical and religious writings. Bioethics is the science of conducting philosophical research on ethical controversies brought about in the development of biology and medicine. It addresses ethical issues that exist between life sciences, biotechnology, medicine, politics, law, philosophy, and religion. Modern bioethics as a discipline first appeared in the 1960s
Fuzhong Biomedical has entered the preclinical biomedical research, and it is of great significance to understand the basic biological mechanism. Research work is usually performed by preclinical departments or institutions in various fields, including fields such as anatomy, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, pharmacy, and internal medicine. Preclinical scientific research can help discover new medical treatments. Clinical research covers everything from clinical laboratories or observational research to new clinical procedures, new clinical diagnostic tools, and testing of new drugs on humans.
It is an ongoing and urgent need to develop medical treatments for certain types of patients that are the same or more secure and effective than existing treatments. Research is conducive to discovering new therapeutic effects of existing drugs, and is conducive to innovating treatment methods for current incurable diseases. New pharmaceutical products are usually discovered through laboratory research and animal experiments, then tested in humans through clinical trials, and eventually applied to medical care.”
